In what is looked at in the CATV industry as a smart move, Trinity Technologies announced formally its tie-up with one of Mumbai's top media buying startup ads2play.com. What this may hold in store for CATV networks all over the country is revenue in terms of advertisements. Says E J deCunha, Director - Ads2Play.com, "We look at it this way - We have the ads and Trinity has the networks...we decided to come together and make the change in the CATV ad industry as a whole"
Ads2play is the brainchild of a few ex-employees of some major media buying companies. Together with their experience ads2play.com boasts of distributing an amount of 8-9 crores during the next financial year. With a few multinational companies already buying spots on various CATV networks through ads2play.com, its just a matter of time before this new startup becomes the only source of corporate ads to Cable Tv networks in India.
Pramod Farias, CEO of Trinity Technologies is very much elated whenever asked about this alliance. "This is a huge advantage for our customers that count to around 3000+ today", he said, "We have asked all of them to register online with ads2play.com. Once that happens we see money going to these CATV networks in a big way."
